Conrad.

Quite possibly my favourite track from I Forget Where We Were, Conrad is a song that lets me just stop. I stop thinking, I stop stressing, I stop fussing, I stop analysing; I stop moving, and simply focus on the moment. Listening to this song is like standing in the middle of the ocean and allowing the waves to roll over your head, the feeling of complete surrender totally washing over you as you allow yourself to be. The calming effect this song has is INSANE, and I can honestly say that without a doubt, Ben Howard has once again outdone himself.

You have to make sure that you give this album a listen. It truly is completely awe-inspiring and amazing! Happy Sunday.

Minority Report.

Tom Cruise will forever hold a very special space in my heart. His films, pre-2007ish, were great, and as my first movie star crush there is no doubt I placed him on a pedestal so high, that even today I can’t help but love him, even when his films evoke an emotion other than love from me. The other night I settled down to watch his 2002 hit, Minority Report and it was honestly one of the best movie experiences EVER. I loved the script, the action, the anticipation, the craziness, and may have leapt up one or two times shouting. Anyway, the film is about the Precrime division in Washington, who for six years have managed to eradicate murder completely, by using the Precogs to look into the future and prevent a future crime from happening. Everything is fab until the chief of Precrime, John Anderton, is accused of the future murder of a man he has never met. John has thirty-six hours to find who framed him and uncover the truth. It deals with everything from personal loss, life, death, predetermination, free will, love, the future and freedom.

This film is definitely a must-see, especially one to watch on a night in, so make sure you check out the trailer.
