These boots were made for walking

I LOVE walking. A few years ago I went on a walking holiday to Potes, a small place in Spain, where I walked, in a different location every day for five days. The views were spectacular, the heights dizzying and the numerous hills murderous. All-in-all, it was a very good trip and every once in a while I have a funny flashback and wish I was back in the Picos de Europa – where I’m pretty sure I’ll return in a few years.

Walking is not only good for exercise or getting fresh air, but it’s also great for a catch-up with friends and family, and is the PERFECT excuse to go shopping. When I was in Potes I wore a pair of grey and black Hi-Tec walking boots which were amazing for the steep hills and dusty gorges, but were in no way fashionable at all.

Oh how I wish I had had Tory Burch…

However, Tory Burch has two pairs of fabulous walking boots on today’s section of “what’s new” on What’s perfect about these babies is that you can wear them whether you’re walking up the side of the mountain or walking up the sidewalk.

The first pair made from duck leather and shearling take an element from Timberland boots, but adds a cool twist. Wear these this winter in the snow or rain with leggings and chunky crazy knits, and you’ll be set for ANY weather conditions. And if you want to look fresher than the air on that mountain top, these are definitely the boots to don especially with their gripped rubber sole.

The second pair is probably more appropriate for the lush greens of a park or common than the slopes of a rocky peak. Made with tweed, dark brown leather and lined with shearling, you’ll be the belle of the countryside with these stylish boots. Wear with skinny jeans and a parker or mac for effortless country chic and embrace the fresh air.

No matter where you like to walk, you can walk there in style with Tory Burch’s fashionable boots.
