On day three, feeling kind of bored of the Strip, we were lucky our itinerary called for seeing the other side of Vegas – the geographical and natural Vegas. We started the day however, by driving out to the infamous Vegas sign for a couple of group pictures, then drove out to an outlet mall for a spot of retail therapy. Again, I wish I’d have had a crystal ball to know to buy some shorts from the Levi’s store. Other than that, the mall was quite disappointing and was nothing like Bicester!
We went to Red Rock Canyon and had a seminar with a Mark Spencer at the visitor centre. After the seminar, we embarked on the first of MANY hikes/walks, and got another chance to see the Strip from afar. It really did seem worlds away from the bright lights and glitter of the night before, but it still looked just as beautiful to me!
Check back again tomorrow for day four in Vegas!
