So the other night my sister and I headed to the West End to see Twelve Angry Men at the Garrick Theatre. The play is about a jury made up of twelve men from varying backgrounds and prejudices, as they decide whether or not to spare the life of a sixteen year old boy accused of murdering his father. The play was very good, and fantastically thought provoking, providing such a deep and in depth debate/conversation between my sister and I (and which I’m sure we’ll still be talking about in the weeks years to come).
For the occasion I wanted something casual but with a little bit of effort thrown in, so decided on all black (what else, eh?) and lilac ballet flats.
Twelve Angry Men runs until June 15th, and is definitely worth a see, or at least a little read on Wikipedia. Happy Friday!
