By the time I’d discovered Pop & Suki, they had already released their cute Camera Bag and its larger counterpart Bigger Camera Bag. When I decided I couldn’t go any longer without owning one of these adorable bags, I thought for almost a week about which one to get, going back and forth many times before deciding on the regular Camera Bag. As I hadn’t really come across many reviews for the bag (I think I only found two), I was a bit sceptical about the bag, especially as I’m incredibly pernickety when it comes to my bags – case in point why I haven’t used any bag aside from the Longchamp Le Pliage in about five or so years – and didn’t want to throw down so much money on something if I wasn’t going to like it. Well anyway, as it happens, I ordered the smaller bag, it came, I fell in love and now I know it’s time for me to get it’s bigger sister so that I’m no longer trying to squeeze my whole life into it (even though it can fit quite a lot).
just look at how much stuff it can hold :O
As I haven’t seen many reviews for the bags, when my Bigger Camera Bag arrives, I’ll try and do an in-depth review in case you’re interesting in getting one for yourself.

You know those pieces that for some unexplainable reason, the moment you lay eyes on them, something clicks deep within and before you know it you’re forgetting about your work and spending most of the morning looking at pictures online and calculating it’d only take two months to save for the beauty? Just me? Well last week during my morning read of emails and newsletters I came across a feature in Coveteur that mentioned this bag, The DK88, and some unexplainable reason, I found myself falling in love instantly, falling through the rabbit hole of Burberry’s website, completely forgetting about all the work that I had to do. While this bag is not usually one I’d give a second glance, I felt a really strong connection to it and (like I mentioned above) started calculating how long it’d take for me to save up; and (like I mentioned above) realised it’d only take two short months (in fact I realised I’d be able to afford it come August payday). But in the hopes of keeping myself on a leash and not going over the top, I figured that if I posted about the bag here, my obsession would slowly fade. Here’s hoping anyway…
Medium DK88 in Honey
Chic, ladylike, available in lots of great colours – like pink – and oh so wearable, I am in L O V E. Isn’t it a real beauty?
And so it’s the last Thursday of the month and I can’t help but look back on all the things I promised myself I would buy, only to realise that I didn’t even make it to check out.
While I may not have managed to get these this month, I’m still holding out hope that I’ll finally purchase these cool shades next month…
In all fairness, I’m not sure I was ever 100% certain these sunglasses were for me, but it was kind of like love at first sight (in the sense that the moment I saw them I wanted them, but then the moment I clicked on another item, I’d all but forgotten about them… sad times). I suppose they are pretty cool to look out though.
A NEW LAPTOP
Don’t even get me started. To be honest I think I’m in denial about needing a new laptop. I know that I need one, but I’m not in the right place to say goodbye to my beloved Kevin (yes he has a name and he’s very dear to my heart) – I even feel bad typing this on him as we speak… Maybe once I get this fan fixed Kevin can stop overheating and burning my leg.
I’ve needed a new pair of Superga’s since I bought my last pair, and I’ve been meaning to buy another pair, but then life happened and I kept forgetting/ couldn’t be bothered to decide between a myriad of colour/texture/style options. Life is so tough is it not?
Similar to my Superga situation, I’ve needed a new Le Pliage since I bought my last bag. And similar to my Superga situation, I was faced with the same challenges that pretty much put a stop to me fulfilling my purchasing obligations. Oh well, on the plus side I’m fairly certain that by the year’s end I’ll have another bag so I guess it’s not exactly the end of the world huh.
Maybe next month I’ll be happy to report that I actually bought everything on this list? Lol! Happy Thursday.
I know I just bought a new bag and that I should still be basking in that whole “new mother” feeling, but my eye has already started drifting elsewhere and eyeing up potential purchases. This trapeze ostrich leather tote from Prada is right up my street. The material looks mouth-wateringly beautiful and is so fantastically crafted.
This beauty comes in four different colours and even though the ‘Quartz’ is my favourite one, I honestly wouldn’t mind owning any of these.
Remember back in January when I said I was looking forward to an “oh wow” purchase this year? Well I think I may have just found it. What do you think?
I have been obsessing over this bag since the day I first laid eyes on it a few months ago. It is the perfect combination of Parisian chic, elegance, charm, beauty, sophistication, classic glamour – the list could go on.
While I am a fan of the bigger version, it’s the small version in gray that has my undivided attention. It is BEYOND cute, the most perfect size and would look phenomenal with anything.
If you ask me it’s kind of upsetting that a small thing like money can stand between a girl and happiness, so if anybody has a spare £1560 or is feeling especially generous, let me know. I think this bag deserves a lovely owner such as myself 😉
It’s simple, chic, versatile, elegant casual and just all-round PERFECT. In case you were wondering, I’m talking about Longchamp’s iconic Le Pliage.
Yesterday I came home to the greatest present, my latest baby, the beige Le Pliage.
Having had my old one for nearly four years (it’s so old the colour has long been discontinued, and the actual bag has a few pesky holes), I’m sure you would agree that a new one was most definitely in order, especially considering how much it’s been through. The Le Pliage is one of those bags that every girl should own. It’s a timeless slice of luxury that is affordable and worth every single penny. I kind of like to think of the Le Pliage as the everyday girl’s Birkin.
ps. stay tuned to see the bag out and about 😉
It’s funny to think that I’ve been staring at this bag for the past two to three weeks and didn’t bat an eyelid at it until earlier today when I was browsing through the latest over at net-a-porter.
From afar, the bag didn’t make much sense. To me it had WAY too many details, and as we’re all more than aware by now, I’m such a simple girl, that the idea of zips and excessive hardware makes me recoil and gag. However there was something about seeing this bag today that made me see things completely different to what I had been seeing at work.
With its simplistic shape, detachable clutch, effortless colours and easy handling, it’s fair to say that the Willow has the potential to be the It-bag of 2013. It also goes without saying that Mulberry is famed for providing the fashion nation with it-bags galore – just look at the Alexa, the Bayswater and the latest hit: the cutesy Lana Del Rey; so I have every hope this bag is going to really take off. If you don’t believe me, I’ve already seen it on the arms of Sienna Miller and Alex Gerrard, to name but a few, and it’s also selling really well at work.
Like with everything else I seem to fall in love with, if only it wasn’t so out of my price range 😥 At £1500, and with bills to pay, let’s just say I won’t be owning this anytime soon… unless, that is, there’s a willing and generous benefactor out there looking to make a girl like me happy.
