Pigalles Follies.

How stunningly gorgeous are these pumps? When I first laid eyes on them it was like love at first sight. The mosaic like pattern on the shoes, that arch of the sole, and of course that seductive 5 inch heel height all had me falling head over heels. Despite their blue colour, to me these pumps look especially classic and as timeless as any plain black pump. What do you think?

And sure the Pigalles are said to be notoriously difficult, but they’re not all that difficult to look at are they?

Music Style Icon Inspired

I love when two of my favourite things come together to create something great, which in this case would be fashion and music. Online luxury retailer Farfetch, is the first brand to integrate Apple Music into its app, iOS and website to create a more enjoyable shopping experience. To celebrate this new partnership and their two new playlists, Farfetch asked bloggers to recreate outfits inspired by music style icons.

I’ve been a big fan of the double denim look aka the Canadian suit for longer than I can remember (probably ever since Britney and Justin’s now infamous music award outfit), and it’s one of my favourite looks to rock, so when I saw a picture of Rihanna having a double denim moment, I knew exactly what kind of outfit I wanted to create.

Instead of the traditional denim fabric, but still wanting to keep that essence of texture denim has, I chose a light blue floral lace shirt from Nº21 and paired it with a pair of similar colour jeans. The lace puts a twist on the classic double denim look, but still looks chic and easy to wear.

Jack Wills Girl.

Wow it’s been such a long time since I’ve written a post like this. I wore this outfit a few weeks ago when I met up with some friends and tried Five Guys for the first time – and let me tell you now it was the greatest food experience of my whole entire life and I wish I had taken pictures so that I could have shared them on here and gushed about how great Five Guys is… but alas, I guess I’ll have to keep that for another time…

Anyway back to the outfit. My brother bought me this sweater a while back and I’ve been loving wearing it both in and outside of the house. If you know me well enough you’ll know how obsessed much I LOVE LOVE LOVE all things Jack Wills and can’t step foot into a store without buying everything in sight. It’s really cute and comfy and goes just as well with my Nike shorts as it does with a pair of ripped jeans.

And once again I took this pictures on my way to meet my friend, to see what I looked like as I didn’t have enough time to check myself out in the mirror before I left the house.

OP Denim Dream.

It’s been a long time since Olivia (or anyone for that matter) has graced the blog, but when I saw these pictures of OP at the Kate Spade pop-up shop opening, I just had to share it.

One the button: The saucy stunner left her shirt tantalisingly unbuttoned at the top

I love how effortlessly cool and chic Olivia looks in this outfit, from her jazzy embellished jacket to her perfectly distressed skinnies, all the way down to her pink pumps and cutesy bag. Doesn’t she just epitomize the art of casual dressing with an upscale twist?

Sheer jean-ius: Olivia Palermo showed off her knockout body at the opening of a new Kate Spade pop-up shop in New York on Tuesday

Olivia will forever be one of my style icons. Happy Wednesday.

Plaid & Distressed.

Is it still summer? Why is the sun still shining like it’s mid-July but the cool breeze is making me feel like it’s mid-May? But the most important question of them all: what am I supposed to wear? For those not-quite-any-season kind of weather conditions, your safest bet are a pair of jeans and a plaid flannel shirt.

Since buying these jeans back in July, I’ve been hard-pressed to find an outfit they don’t look great with. If anything, as the months have passed they’ve paired better with even more of my clothes. I thought I’d probably go off them around August, but here I am at the end of September and I’m kicking myself for not investing in another (or two) pairs of these Topshop bad boys. Comfy; tick. Stylish; tick. Weather neutral; double tick – although your knees might get a little chilly in the winter 😛 . You really can’t go wrong.

Aren’t my matching pink nails so cute? Funny that when I first tried this colour I wasn’t such a big fan, but now I’m loving it!

Olivia Palermo X Madame Le Figaro.

This just in: Olivia Palermo covers the latest issue of Madame Le Figaro and natch she looks UH-MAZE-ZING!

I love the laidback and cool denim concept for the issue, and I love how even barefoot, Ms P is still able to rock it like she’s in a pair of five inch stilettos.

Doesn’t this spread make you want to practise posing in the mirror?

Blue Jeans.

Saturday was really such a beautiful day. With highs of up to 19 degrees it was the perfect opportunity to crack open my new jeans and take them out for a whirl. It’s been a really long time since I’ve owned jeans that were so blue, but these are just phenomenal and I’m already thinking of buying another pair.

The only thing that would have really completed this look would have been the pair of Boca shades I was talking about on Friday. Don’t you think?
