Wednesday Wish list: Furla Metropolis Shoulder Bag.

These past few weeks I’ve been on the lookout for a new bag and I’m about 99.9999999999% sure that I’ve found THE perfect one… Introducing the Metropolis shoulder bag by the luxury Italian brand, Furla. This beauty ticks pretty much every criteria I have when it comes to buying bags, which if you must know is very long (and explains why I’ve only carried Longchamp’s Le Pliage for the last few years), but after seeing the bags up close in real life, as well as spending hours poring over videos and images of the bag, I know it could be the start of a beautiful relationship.

Will I hunker down and commit though? Watch this space.

Steve Madden Editt Stretch Velvet Ankle Boots.

I realise that I always want to take a minute to oogle at an item of either clothing, jewellery, shoes, bags – you name it, I’ve stopped for a moment (or ten) to truly bask in its greatness; and I’m sure by now it must seem like empty words, but today when I ask to take a moment, know that I will be taking several. These Steve madden boots are life and I do not care about the price. Ninety-nine pouds, scmighty-nine pounds. They will be mine…!!

Oh and FYI, every time I need to take a moment, trust me when I say it’s the greatest piece I’ve seen in my life, because it honestly feels that way to me.

Alphabet 14-karat Gold Earring.

I first added these ultra-cute studs to my wish list back in March, but it wasn’t until last week when I was browsing for a pair of earrings that I stumbled across them (and fell in love with them again). There’s something about personalised things (even if it is just one letter) that I really REALLY love, so whenever I see anything with the potential to be personalised, I fall head over heels in love! Case in point these gold alphabet earrings from Catbird, that are beautiful, chic and simple (and we all know how I love my accessories chic and simple).

I wonder which letter (or two) I’ll get? Watch this space 😀

Alvechurch Biker Jacket.

Would you believe I’ve had my eyes on this jacket since August?! It’s times like these that I honestly believe in love at first sight because the moment I saw the jacket, I was infatuated and needed it immediately. I very neeeeearly bought it last month but decided £189 was a bit much to spend on the perfect wool biker jacket (what the hell was I thinking??), and even though I regretted not buying it, it wasn’t until I saw an image of a random girl wearing the jacket that I realised to error of my very foolish ways. Though black would seem like the likely choice to get the jacket in, alas it’s the grey version that has irrevocably stolen my heart.

The Christmas sales really couldn’t come soon enough. Fingers crossed this will be in the sale!! – So fashion gods if you can hear me…

Sweater Season.

The weather may be looking good these days (how great was the weather over the weekend?) but that should distract us from the fact that tomorrow marks the last day of August and that soon the weather will return to its chilly state. To prep for the oncoming cold, I’ve been focusing my shopping efforts on lots of chic and cosy sweaters to wear once summer is done and gone. This season you can expect to find me in skirts, woolly tights and my trusty Supergas!

Just looking at all these beautiful sweaters I can’t wait for autumn to come!

Superga X Luisaviaroma.

Can we take a moment to appreciate these dreamy Superga sneakers? When I first saw that Superga would have a special collection with online luxury retailer Luisaviaroma, I knew I had to get in on it (especially after missing the Superga and The Row’s collaboration a few years back 😦 ). These special editions come in velvet and canvas options, ribbon laces and a chunky platform. I can’t wait to wear them out!

And I recently spied Superga’s latest collaboration with accessory brand, Charlotte Simone, and the collection looks so cute!

Burberry: The DK88.

You know those pieces that for some unexplainable reason, the moment you lay eyes on them, something clicks deep within and before you know it you’re forgetting about your work and spending most of the morning looking at pictures online and calculating it’d only take two months to save for the beauty? Just me? Well last week during my morning read of emails and newsletters I came across a feature in Coveteur that mentioned this bag, The DK88, and some unexplainable reason, I found myself falling in love instantly, falling through the rabbit hole of Burberry’s website, completely forgetting about all the work that I had to do. While this bag is not usually one I’d give a second glance, I felt a really strong connection to it and (like I mentioned above) started calculating how long it’d take for me to save up; and (like I mentioned above) realised it’d only take two short months (in fact I realised I’d be able to afford it come August payday). But in the hopes of keeping myself on a leash and not going over the top, I figured that if I posted about the bag here, my obsession would slowly fade. Here’s hoping anyway…

Medium DK88 in Honey

Chic, ladylike, available in lots of great colours – like pink – and oh so wearable, I am in L O V E. Isn’t it a real beauty?
