In Anita Ko Heaven.

Since discovering Anita Ko on net-a-porter a few years ago, I have been obsessed! I love how girly, cute and fun all the pieces are. As a massive earring fan, I especially love all her tiny studs, that have inspired me to fill my ears with loads of piercings just so that one day I can wear all of them.

And don’t even get me started on the rings? Each ring is just as lovely and delicate as the last, again making me want to wear all of them… Ah alas, I guess for now, looking will just have to do.

Aren’t these all so dreamy? See more from Anita Ko here.

Total Stud-Muffin.

I love studs. Cute, practical and subtle, stud earrings (especially the really small ones) go with all outfits. I’m always on the lookout for studs to wear as I find them to be less flashy and attention-grabbing, yet still able to be the finishing touch complete any look. These days studs are getting more delicate and coming in unique designs like the mismatched earring sets that I’m currently loving.

And speaking of studs, I’ve always wanted to get a second ear piercing but for whatever reason I haven’t. Therefore, by the end of the year I really hope that I’m finally able to take the plunge and get my second hole done – just think about all the more earrings I’d be able to wear!

Faux Pearl.

I recently purchased these cool faux pearl earrings from ASOS, and despite a few issues with the first pair that I received, I still love them. The “swinging” design of the earring creates an illusion of a floating pearl beneath the ear lobe which I find pretty cool.

Even though they come as a pair, they definitely look better on with just the one pair.

Hoods & Studs.

I have a journal article to read and subsequent notes to make on said article, so obviously that means I have to share my favourites pieces that I found on net-a-porter this morning – I mean, first thing’s first and everything – and hey, you could never accuse me of getting my priorities mixed up. So anyway, earrings are slowing beginning to overtake my obsession with rings, especially after losing my most sacred velvet trinket box which housed all my precious jewellery, earrings to be more precise, so I’ve been slowly trying to rebuild my cache. These studs from Melissa Joy Manning are absolutely perfect and I’m hoping and wishing for pairs like these in the future cough cough. And Chloé decided that with winter SOMEWHERE around the corner we should be investing in cashmere ribbed hoods. I couldn’t agree more, and obviously I’m not alone in this assumption as one of the two hoods had already sold out long before I had a chance to make the morning rounds on net-a-porter. Check them out below.

Self(ie) Portrait.

I love a selfie. I love their intimate nature, how they seem to strip away that layer of protection and lay everything bare. For me, a selfie is like looking in the mirror, only the image you see is kept forever in your camera roll, ready to be posted on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr, or maybe even just to kept there safely in your camera roll. Now I know I’m not the only person who is guilty of having a boat-load of selfies locked away on my phone, not because I’m particularly vain, but because I’m bored more times than I’m not, and taking selfies is a good way to pass the time. Anyway, I took these a few days ago after a long day at work, and I figured they were decent enough to share on here (I’m keeping my not-so-great ones where they belong: HIDDEN hahahaa) because I know you’ve missed seeing my face.

And in case you’re ever feeling bad for that seemingly never-ending roll of selfies you have stored away somewhere, always remember:

Who doesn’t love a selfie anyway?

Trinkets.

It’s one of those BLUERGHHHHH (Satur)day’s where everything seems worse than it is and eurgh I wish I was still in a comatose slumber. But anyway, I’m not going to bore you and myself with such negativity, so instead I’m going to share the trinkets of this past week that I’ve added to my wish list (and that know that if I owned, I’d probably feel a little bit better *HINTHINT*).

Rhodium Plated Cubic Zirconia Earrings.

Yep, less than a week after purchasing my dream boots, I’ve found the next item on my wish list/ purchase list. These super cute and AFFORDABLE Kenneth Jay Lane studs are just the thing that I’ve been looking for, and I know they’ll most definitely compliment my pearl collection.

I mean c’mon, at only £35 it would pretty foolish of me not to get these… right?
