Kitri.

There’s a new brand I’m obsessed with and it goes by the name Kitri.

Kitri Logo

Born out of the inability to find well-made clothes that don’t cost an arm and a leg, Kitri was created to fill a void in the market for young professional women who didn’t want to sacrifice style just because their bank accounts didn’t agree – this is something every woman can relate to.

Naturally upon first glance at the dresses I fell head over heels in love with the collection and already started creating a wish list of pieces to buy once payday came around. So what exactly makes this brand so special? Well for one, the brand interacts directly with the customers meaning prices are much lower because there’s no “middle man”. Additionally, you can expect to find great designs that are feminine and girly but not too delicate, as well as staples every girl needs in her life.

What’s more is that with a limited number of pieces produced, you don’t have to worry about seeing someone else in the same outfit as you – another thing every woman can relate to – unless they are equally as stylish as you are 😉 PLUS, with an update collection coming once a week, you can be sure that your wardrobe is the freshest, chicest one around town.

Duele El Corazón.

I know I sometimes have the tendency to sound a bit over the top in my writing, but I promise you I mean every single word – but I do believe that after you’ve listened to this song you’ll feel the exact same way. Okay, so a few weeks ago this song came on in the office and OH MY GOD from the moment I heard the first line I was hooked. By the time the chorus came around I was FLOORED, and by the time the song had finished, I had died about a million times and come back to life – it was that great. Something else that made me realise just how great the song was, was the fact that it made me pause my own music which hardly ever happens because my music is better than what plays in the office – or at least so I thought. Anyway, it wasn’t until a bit later that I realised it was sung by Enrique which looking back I’m wondering how I didn’t recognise his angel voice. This song is sexy, passionate, fun, catchy, addictive (I won’t tell you how many times I’ve listened to it – I blame that damn-killer beat), and just the thing I didn’t know I was missing from music. It’s put a spring in my step every time I’ve listened to it, and I do believe it’s changed my life for good! This song has hands down got to be one of the best I’ve heard ALLLLLLLL year aka my whole life!

If you only do one thing today, make sure you give this song a listen (or twenty)… Oh and there’s also an English version if the original is a little too hot for you 😉 Happy Sunday.

Smooth (Live on the Honda Stage at the iHeartRadio Theater NY).

To celebrate the release of my favourite country duo’s latest album, Dig Your Roots, today’s Soundtrack is a live version of their sexy, feel-good song ‘Smooth’. By the end of the first verse, you’ll be grooving like nobody’s business and then before you know it, you’ll be singing along to the music… smooooooooth 😉

I’ve waited so long for this album and I’m really excited about it. I can’t wait to share more songs from the album with you. Happy Sunday.

The Wolves.

Today’s Soundtrack is taking a little break from all the country I’ve been sharing lately. It’s been a while since my hubs aka Ben Howard’s released any new music/ has been on the blog/ I’ve listened to any of his songs, but the other day I got suddenly got the urge to listen to his songs. ‘The Wolves’, from his debut album Every Kingdom, has always been a favourite of mine, and I’m actually very surprised I haven’t shared it on here before. So what better song to share when I’m in this Ben Howard mood?

I don’t know when Ben’ll next be releasing something, but I really hope it’s soon. In the meantime, I’ll just have to keepy Every Kingdom, The Burgh Island and I Forgot Where We Were on repeat. Happy Sunday.

Put Your Records On.

I’m pretty sure I sing hum this song at least a hundred times a day so it was only a matter of time before it found itself on the blog – but more importantly as a Sunday Soundtrack. So, why now and not before or later? Well for some strange reason I have been humming this song WAY more than usual so I thought a way to relieve myself of that infectious beat was to share it on here. I know my efforts will most likely be futile (I’m currently belting out singing this song right now and I’m sure I’ll be humming this song for the rest of time – even in the afterlife – thanks Corinne) but hey, it’s worth a shot.

This song is seriously just as amazing and life-giving as it was ten years ago! Happy Sunday.

Good For You.

I’ve been listening to this song non-stop on repeat for the past two weeks, and I swear I love it even more with every listen. Today’s Soundtrack is a sexy number from Selena Gomez’s latest album, Revival, which comes out this month (I’m not sure if it’s already come out yet). I love that despite its sexual nature, the song is sung beautifully – if you ask me, Selena really takes advantage of her *ahem* not so strong vocals, BUT it works so well in her favour for this song – and the lyrics are able to maintain some class/tastefulness.

I just love this song and I’m sure I’ll be listening to it non-stop on repeat for at least another two weeks (if not forever hahahaha).  I want to add it to wedding playlist, but it might be a bit too suggestive for such an event ;). Happy Sunday.

우리집 (My House).

When I first clicked on this song on Wednesday I had no idea it would effectively take over my whole life. I had no idea it would be so catchy and that I would get so obsessed with the song that I would have it on repeat constantly, and even get my sister hooked on it too – oh if only I’d known. Anyway, as I’m all about living life without regrets, I won’t ponder on how differently these last couple of days could have been, and instead I’ll just focus on how much I love this song and on how HOT these boys are. ‘My House’ is the comeback song from Korean boyband, 2pm, and I’m pretty sure it’s one of the best things that have happened to me in such a long time…

Enjoy! Happy Sunday!
