Night Owl.

Night-time is probably my favourite time of day. It’s dark, eerie, and tranquil; and whether you’re stood outside or gazing out of a window, there’s something so peaceful and easy about being one with the night air, feeling a calm that the day just doesn’t seem to have.

Taken last week, I feel like these pictures capture the stillness and beauty of the night, even if they are a little blurry for the most part.

It’s kind of hard to not feel all your worries and anxieties slip away when you’re completely mesmerised and overcome by a yoga-like euphoria from the fresh breeze (well, it’s London so a breeze as fresh as you can get here…)

Chasing the Sunset.

We’re at that point where even though it feels as though summer has been going on forever (especially if you’re like me and your summer started way back in May), and as though summer might just never end; what with these glorious hot sweltering days that we’ve been having, spent lying out in the sun, wearing things that in a few months’ time we’ll be in such disbelief about. Anyway, as we come to the end of July and the beginning of the end of summer, on this hot summer’s night, I wanted to share a couple of pictures that I took a few weeks ago when the sun was setting and London was buzzing. In these pictures I take the time to reflect back on this seemingly never-ending summer, at all the things that have happened; and look forward to the rest of the summer and the adventures that await me (well, us, seeing as I share everything with you guys).

How’s the summer been treating you guys so far? I know it’s been long, but we’ve still got another month left to go. Hope you all have a good evening. Goodnight.

Giraffes in the Sunset.

I want this picture enlarged, framed and on one of the many walls in my future mansion, but I guess in the meantime I’ll have to settle for having this picture on my Tumblr instead. There’s something so comforting and soothing about this photo. I love the misty sky that looks cold, whilst the sunset also makes the setting look warm. The colours are kind of overwhelming (in a good way of course) and I think I could stare at this mesmerising image for a long time, unwinding.

Christmas has come and gone at ultra-high speed and now that I’ve finally finished all my assignments, I’m not feeling so bad about going back to university tomorrow. It feels kind of weird, but that’s life.
