Superga X Luisaviaroma.

Can we take a moment to appreciate these dreamy Superga sneakers? When I first saw that Superga would have a special collection with online luxury retailer Luisaviaroma, I knew I had to get in on it (especially after missing the Superga and The Row’s collaboration a few years back 😦 ). These special editions come in velvet and canvas options, ribbon laces and a chunky platform. I can’t wait to wear them out!

And I recently spied Superga’s latest collaboration with accessory brand, Charlotte Simone, and the collection looks so cute!

Lots of Stripes.

Is there any pattern easier to wear than stripes? Whether it be vertical or horizontal, I’m a sucker for a bit of stripe action. There’s something really laidback and casual (which is definitely my style) about them, yet they never look lazy or messy. I also think stripes help add a bit of dimension to not only the clothes, but to the wearer as well.

While I do love me some stripes, do not be fooled: not all stripes are created equal, as the classic navy-white combination will always reign supreme (but that’s a post for another day).

Wwake.

As a strong believer that less is more, it makes perfect sense that I’d be going crazy over my latest net-a-porter finding: Wwake. Based in New York, Wwake is a fine jewellery line focused on delicate, dainty, stackable pieces that look effortless and super chic. But don’t let the simplicity fool you, as its this same simplicity that makes the pieces truly stand out, and is why my wish list is now currently packed with beautiful gems I’ll be saving up for.

Gowns, Gowns, Gowns.

While it’s true it’s not every day I’m able to wear a fancy gown… in fact come to think about it, I don’t think I’ve ever worn one, but that doesn’t stop my undying appreciation for a floor-length dress with a bit of character and charm. Though some are not ones that would usually appeal to me (Marchesa I’m looking at you even though I’ve been in love with you gowns for at least over a decade), there’s still something about all of them that I love. Case in point, the gowns below that drew my attention for various reasons.

Rebecca Vallance.

Despite being on the fashion scene since 2011, it’s taken me up until last weekend to discover Rebecca Vallance. The Australian born designer started as a fashion publicist before turning to creating her own brand that has grown from a small local clothing line to an international presence, being stocked in stores like Harvey Nichols and Intermix, as well as on luxury online stores like net-a-porter.

Of her clothing you can expect structured feminine pieces, that while ladylike are not ultra-dainty, but movable stylish garments that cater to the modern woman. You can also expect lots of flamenco-style ruffles and pleats for added texture and character.

Though the designs are undeniably great, their price point is also something to look to as it’s not excessively expensive – at least not compared to some other designers.

See more of Rebecca here and here.

RE/DONE.

There’s a new denim sheriff in town and it goes by the name of RE/DONE. Founded by Sean Barron and Jamie Mazur, RE/DONE is so much more than a denim company, having first started online before growing into the e-commerce brand it is today.

While I’ve never really been crazy about jeans – I only own one pair – when I first saw their jeans, there was something about them that I couldn’t ignore, so now naturally I’m in need of practically every pair they make, including one very chic denim mini skirt that reminds me of teenage style years. They recently started selling on net-a-porter (which is where I actually discovered them a few weeks ago – and yes my wish list is full of their pieces) and I’ve been spotting their jeans everywhere, ever since.

RE/DUN

You’re sure to be seeing a lot more of RE/DONE in the future. Check them out here and here.
