The Wolves.

Today’s Soundtrack is taking a little break from all the country I’ve been sharing lately. It’s been a while since my hubs aka Ben Howard’s released any new music/ has been on the blog/ I’ve listened to any of his songs, but the other day I got suddenly got the urge to listen to his songs. ‘The Wolves’, from his debut album Every Kingdom, has always been a favourite of mine, and I’m actually very surprised I haven’t shared it on here before. So what better song to share when I’m in this Ben Howard mood?

I don’t know when Ben’ll next be releasing something, but I really hope it’s soon. In the meantime, I’ll just have to keepy Every Kingdom, The Burgh Island and I Forgot Where We Were on repeat. Happy Sunday.

Maps.

Wow it’s been such a long time since I’ve listened to this song. When I heard it playing in the background of a TV show I was watching, I immediately opened up iTunes and put the song on repeat. Adam’s voice is HEAVEN (I was going to describe it as something else, but I try to keep this blog as PG as possible 😉 ) and song is one of those that you can just get lost in for hours.

Happy Sunday.

Good For You.

I’ve been listening to this song non-stop on repeat for the past two weeks, and I swear I love it even more with every listen. Today’s Soundtrack is a sexy number from Selena Gomez’s latest album, Revival, which comes out this month (I’m not sure if it’s already come out yet). I love that despite its sexual nature, the song is sung beautifully – if you ask me, Selena really takes advantage of her *ahem* not so strong vocals, BUT it works so well in her favour for this song – and the lyrics are able to maintain some class/tastefulness.

I just love this song and I’m sure I’ll be listening to it non-stop on repeat for at least another two weeks (if not forever hahahaha).  I want to add it to wedding playlist, but it might be a bit too suggestive for such an event ;). Happy Sunday.

Thunder.

There’s nothing like hearing an empowering song on a Sunday, especially with Monday lingering a mere few hours away. There’s also nothing like an empowering song if it’s sung by Britain’s Beyoncé: Leona Lewis. Even though I had heard about this song a few months ago and had seen some adverts on YouTube, it wasn’t until a shopping on Wednesday that I first heard the song. This song is perfect for fixing a broken heart, a broken ego, and even a broken dream. If you’re feeling down and need to satisfy that Leona Lewis craving, then look no further and check out the video below.

Now I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s missed Leona… Happy Sunday.

Happiness.

If you watched the season premiere of How to Get Away With Murder (don’t worry I’m not going to start talking about it) you’ll recognise this song from the end scene when Annalise and co. are raving it up in a basement club. Also, if you’ve read this blog before, you’ll recognise Chris Corner’s unique and vivid voice from a few music posts. The song features those classic IAMX vibes and like most of their songs, once I’ve listened to it, I’m left in a trance, pondering about the universe and all the things that are wrong with the world. This is definitely a song for you if you’re looking for some deep-pensive thought time.

Make sure you check out the song and next week’s HTGAWM. Happy Sunday.

우리집 (My House).

When I first clicked on this song on Wednesday I had no idea it would effectively take over my whole life. I had no idea it would be so catchy and that I would get so obsessed with the song that I would have it on repeat constantly, and even get my sister hooked on it too – oh if only I’d known. Anyway, as I’m all about living life without regrets, I won’t ponder on how differently these last couple of days could have been, and instead I’ll just focus on how much I love this song and on how HOT these boys are. ‘My House’ is the comeback song from Korean boyband, 2pm, and I’m pretty sure it’s one of the best things that have happened to me in such a long time…

Enjoy! Happy Sunday!

ps. We all know that I’m a sucker for a good dance routine, especially if there are guys involved he he 😉

Just Gettin’ Started.

I really wanted to post ‘Tonight Looks Good On You,’ but then I realised I had already shared that song. So instead, I thought I’d share another Jason Aldean favourite from his latest album, Old Boots, New Dirt.

Happy Sunday.
