Just when I thought I was over my love of wearing white, this happened…
I guess you could say this brings a whole new meaning to feeling alright all white 😉 Happy Tuesday!
Saturday was really such a beautiful day. With highs of up to 19 degrees it was the perfect opportunity to crack open my new jeans and take them out for a whirl. It’s been a really long time since I’ve owned jeans that were so blue, but these are just phenomenal and I’m already thinking of buying another pair.
The only thing that would have really completed this look would have been the pair of Boca shades I was talking about on Friday. Don’t you think?
You know that summer is close when you can run errands without worrying about wearing a jacket, whilst knowing that going out bare-legged may be a little over ambitious.
It’s great that the weather has been so nice lately, but knowing Britain it’s only a matter of time before it starts pouring down with rain hahahahahahaha (touch wood it doesn’t…).
I for one just can’t believe it’s April. Before we know it we’ll be in the full throes of August!
I hadn’t worn this jumper for a couple of years, and now I’ve worn it three times in the last two months. If ever there were a reason to dedicate a post to an item of clothing, this would definitely be it. Teamed with my favourite gilet and scuffy Superga’s, I had a blast running errands and posing 😉
And because it’s been a little while since you’ve seen my face…
Happy Friday! I’m so happy this crazy week is coming to an end.
I seem to wear variations of the same thing every day, which tends to make getting dressed in the morning pretty easy, that is until I can’t find a dark enough top to wear. These jeans/leggings from Uniqlo are honestly such a godsend, and despite the fact they make my legs look a tad chubby, they go well with everything and aren’t made from that thick denim most jeans are made from.
There are always perks to having sisters, whether they’re actual relatives or just girls you’ve adopted as family over the years, as it means you’re never short of clothes or outfit inspirations. This is definitely the case with me. I think I’m incredibly lucky to have such a stylish sister with such stylish pieces that I would never think to buy for myself (case in point: this shirt), but that always seem to come in handy and save the day when I’m having a wardrobe crisis.
It took me two outfit changes to get to this final look, which then made me rush (as always), hence a few blurry pics, but then again I kind of like the rushed feel of these pictures.
Oh and what do you know, today marks one more month until my birthday 😉
I bought this nail varnish a few months ago and it was nothing like I expected it to be. I guess that by now I should be used to Barry M colours turning out differently to what their colour implies/what I think the colour might be.
Anyway, ‘Almond’ is from their Gelly Collection (which is definitely my favourite of all the Barry M collections) and looks a lot like ‘Vanilla’ in the sense that it’s more purple/lilac than you would think. However, in some lights the lilac looks more nude which is nice (although that could only just be because of my skin tone), and even though I was very apprehensive towards the purplely nature of the nail varnish, in these past three days I’ve actually grown strangely accustomed to it.
I found that the polish didn’t exactly glide on like usual, but that could be down to me not shaking it as much as I usually do. Aside from that though, the polish is just fine.
And obviously with these manicure pics I couldn’t resist showing off a few of my rings that I haven’t really worn in a while.
