Jose & Agneta.

Yess! I can always count on The Row for some classic cashmere basics to brighten my day. Their two cashmere offerings in the form of the Jose cashmere and silk-blend turtleneck, and the Agenta cashmere off-the-shoulder sweater, have filled me with an all-new whelm of inspiration. The simple, yet totally elegant shape of both tops, ensure these pieces will always remain timeless and chic.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen X CFDA Journal.

What better way to kick off the month of June than with June babies (and two of my favourite people), Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who are featuring in the CFDA Journal.

MKA CFDA Nominations.

I hate how long it’s been since these two have graced the blog, but you know that any time my favourite twins are mentioned, it’s always something good!

Modest moguls: Mary-Kate, left, and Ashley Olsen, right, opted to make humble appearances as they attended the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards Announcement Party at The Weather Room at the Top of the Rock in New York City on Monday

So Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have been nominated for yet ANOTHER fashion award with the CFDA for Womenswear Designer of the Year and Accessories Designer of the Year. Obviously I’m hoping they win, and not just because I’m biased (hehe), but because I honestly believe that The Row makes some truly exceptional and beautiful pieces that may be EXTREMELY out of my price range, but are things to aspire towards.

Style stars: The two have been nominated again for Womenswear Designer Of The Year and Accessories Designer Of The Year for their collection, The Row

Fingers crossed and the best of luck! Happy Tuesday.

Pallas.

So I think I may have stumbled on something great… Actually no, scratch that, I’m SURE I’ve stumbled upon something great; and that is Parisian brand Pallas.

What makes Pallas so great? Well for starters there’s the fact that despite me not being the biggest tuxedo fan for women, I have a sudden urge to own all of their beautifully tailored pieces. I want to wear them with skinny jeans, tees and sneakers for a laid back day look (then swap the sneakers for heels at night); I want to wear them with skin-tight bodycon dresses; I want to wear them with just about anything because I KNOW they would pair so well with everything.

Anyway, crazy-psycho-Alice rambling aside, this is a really cool brand, inspired by Le Smoking (think Yves Saint Laurent), and designed by Daniel Pallas and Veronique Bousquet, who have been featured in Vogue; and they have already inspired me to mix up my look a bit.

Ten Years To The Row.

It feels like forever ago (three months) since my favourite twins appeared here on the blog, so it seems like a perfect coincidence that they’d be featured in the December edition of Elle magazine. In the latest issue, they talk about the skeptics at the beginning of their fashion career (can you actually believe it’s been TEN YEARS already?!) and about the opening of their first store for their line, The Row. It’s been such a trip watching Mary-Kate and Ashley grow and continue to build their brand, and I can’t wait to see what the next ten years will bring – hopefully by that time I’ll be able to afford some of their beautiful pieces.

Dynamic duo: Despite facing harsh criticism early on in their fashion careers, Mary-Kate (L) and Ashley have found huge success as designers

Naomi Campbell X The Edit.

Many a great woman has graced the cover of net-a-porter’s online mag, The Edit, and this week is no exception with the mighty and formidable Naomi Campbell adorning the latest issue.

Helping hand: The supermodel, who grew up in the fast-paced world of fashion, was offered valuable advice from Nelson Mandela

The pictures are absolutely striking and really took my breath away. I mean, just look at her – WOW!

Still a super: Naomi Campbell may have broken into the industry nearly thirty years ago but at 44, she's better than ever - and proves it in this glossy shoot for The Edit High fashion: She's worked for every major fashion house but Naomi admits that even she gets nervous before a catwalk appearance

Internationally renowned: Along with Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell is without a doubt one of the fashion industry's most famous faces and at 44, she's still going strong

In this week’s Edit, Campbell dishes on how she still gets nervous before shows, her family in the fashion world (because let’s face it, this woman has connections with just about everyone in the industry – from the late Gianni Versace to Azzedine Alaïa and John Galliano), as well as talking about her charity work.

Survivor: She says that as a Gemini, she likes to keep moving and doing things and being there for friends no matter how hectic her life may get

I know that I do call a lot of women amazing role models on here, but Naomi really is one of the greats and she is truly incredible.
