Thigh’s The Limit.

So, I was minding my own business on net-a-porter (as I do), adding more items to my wish list, when I stumbled across a pair of Stuart Weitzman and Charlotte Olympia thigh high boots. While I’ve long bemoaned the fact that my short legs have prevented me from rocking and being comfortable in anything that goes over the knee, that hasn’t stopped me from (internet) window shopping and looking at a few pairs I would love to wear if I were a few inches taller – a few thousand pounds richer.

A/W Inspo.

This past week I’ve been thinking more and more about my autumn/winter, and I’ve been looking around for inspiration on what key pieces I should add. As expected, net-a-porter proved to be a great place for me to source ideas, so now I’ve convinced myself to spend the next few months in miniskirts (with tights of course) and sweaters – here’s hoping I keep it up. Five Favourites Thursday: June 2015.

Is it just me or did this month go by so quickly? Sure we’ve still got a good five days left of the month, but as the last Thursday of June, the month is pretty much finished. Anyway, as I’ve spent the majority of my month working eight and a half hours a day whilst writing my dissertation, I haven’t exactly done anything too crazy recently – unless you count window shopping on net-a-porter. The Perfect Denim Dress.

When I saw this dress on net-a-porter yesterday afternoon, I knew exactly why Current/Elliott decided to call it the perfect denim dress. It’s so cute, perfect to wear all year round, and would easily take you from day to night with just a change of footwear. I also love that it’s in the style of an oversized shirt meaning I’d wear it in the smallest size.

All Good Things Come in Black Boxes.

They say good things come in small packages and I really couldn’t agree more – although personally, I think I’d change it to: good things come in small “black” packages, especially if this morning is anything to go by.

I woke up to a lovely text message from the couriers telling me my special parcel was on its way to me, and I have to admit it felt like Christmas morning, eagerly awaiting my package.

One thing I will ALWAYS commend net-a-porter for is their fast and oh so efficient delivery service. Every time I’ve purchased something from the luxury brand, I’ve always received it the next day, even though they estimate a 2-3 working day wait. I mean, if that’s not great then I honestly don’t know what is!

I’m a sucker for a fab piece of ribbon. Scroll down for more ribbon action…

The packaging is so exquisite, I feel like I’m swimming in a pool of silky black waves.

A Few Pieces To Cheer Me Up.

I’ve been throwing up since morning and it’s put an enormous downer on my day; not only because it’s meant I’ve spent the day on my hands and knees next to the toilet, but because it’s meant I’ve been unable to go to bench ball (something I was REALLY looking forward to :() – I guess I’ll just have to go next week. With all this drama going on, there’s only one place that can cheer me up: net-a-porter, and today’s picks do not disappoint. We start off with Dion Lee’s black and blue halter top that looks great with the matching skirt (which I haven’t included because it’s a tad too long for my liking), but would just as fab with a pair of skinny jeans. Christian Louboutin makes the list twice with a pair of sexy and classic python pumps and a pair of thigh high black suede boots. We then finish things off with L’Wren Scott’s gold number with an ultra-plush blue velvet ribbon detail (you know how much I’m loving ribbons at the moment); and a Fendi bag, cute and fabulous enough to rival the iconic Chanel 2.55.

Rhodium Plated Cubic Zirconia Earrings.

Yep, less than a week after purchasing my dream boots, I’ve found the next item on my wish list/ purchase list. These super cute and AFFORDABLE Kenneth Jay Lane studs are just the thing that I’ve been looking for, and I know they’ll most definitely compliment my pearl collection.
